An Encore Presentation

Got Milk?
I usually don't present my creations more than once. But, in this case
I just wanted to share this one more time to invite you to come
play in the Rose Blossom Garden. For the next two weeks the this challenge
will be using the Birthday Girl key on the Artiste Cricut cartridge (page 69).
Celebrate the V.I.P. (very important princess) in you and/or
your friends and have a blast creating with this key!
I used the frosting for the cupcake to make the cow print.
The box holds the Oreo cookies with a "Got Milk" tag.

Added the milk mustache for grandpa.
Now you have until May 31 to play in the Rose Blossom Garden.
I can't enter this creation in the challenge because it's not new
but I have an idea for my VIP that I will share later this week.

"P" is for Party

The challenge: work with the Circus (or "P") key on the Artiste cartridge (page 50) of the Cricut booklet.  This is a super fun key, that includes pinwheels, Ferris wheels, Yo-yos and a cute triangle box.
The Yo-yo(shift, 3-d object) on this page is my favorite.
I've used it as part of my Dream Pop party supplies
The cute pinwheels add a fun accent to the party.
The Party invitation with the yo-yo and pinwheels.
I used the letter "P" from Artiste to spell out Party.
Even though this challenge ends today, tomorrow
Rose Blossom Garden will have a brand new challenge.
Come play at the Rose Blossom Garden soon.

Color Challenge #42

It's all About the Pinks
Blush, Hollyhock, and Cotton Candy are the colors of the week at Color My Heart.

For my project I made a card an added a little gray for some background stamping.
To make the squares just use the back side of any square stamp. Ink with Slate,
stamp off  for a second generation of color and randomly stamp on your
white cardstock. The pink block is second generation Blush ink.
Cut the white 1 1/4"  flowers from Artiste Cricut booklet page 73 and
ink edges with Cotton Candy. Cut the Hollyhock 1/2" flowers from
Artiste Booklet page 44. Layer your flowers and embellish with pearl in the center.

So grab your pinks and create a surprise for us this week at Color My Heart.

At Heart 2 Heart

It's Time To Stuff Your Envelopes
Heart 2 Heart has fun with envelopes this week. Envelopes can be used for
hidden journaling on a scrapbook page, special notes on cards,
a gift holder on a package, a mini pocket album, and the list goes on.
Envelopes are a fun way to embellish a card or scrapbook page.
I made one of my favorite cards and envelope from the Artiste Cricut cartridge.
I cut the card and envelope on page 72 of the Artiste Cricut booklet at 2 inches.
I used the card as the "Mom" insert in the envelope for the focal point.
Then I used my friend Aime's quilling tool technique to make the flower,
added a few leaves and some trinkets. Now my card is ready for Mother's Day.
Now it's your turn to show us your favorite use for envelopes.
Be sure to share with us at Heart 2 Heart.
